Anandana – The Coca-Cola India Foundation has reaffirmed its commitment to women’s sports by supporting India’s junior women’s hockey team as they prepare for the 2025 FIH Women’s Junior Hockey World Cup in Santiago, Chile. The partnership between Anandana and Hockey India spans over three years and focuses on building a strong development pipeline for young women athletes.
The collaboration supports critical elements such as high-performance training, consistent exposure, and holistic player development. As part of the preparation framework, the team completed a five-match exposure tour in Australia, gaining valuable experience against global competition. Multiple intensive training camps were also conducted in India, Amsterdam, and Berlin, offering specialized coaching tailored to positional needs and match-readiness.
Dr. Dilip Tirkey, President of Hockey India, highlighted the importance of the partnership, noting that Coca-Cola India has played a vital role in strengthening athlete preparation through camps and international exposure. Secretary General Bhola Nath Singh echoed this, adding that the #SheTheDifference collaboration has ensured structured growth and meaningful global experience for young players.
Devyani Rana, Vice President – Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability at Coca-Cola India and South West Asia, shared that the program is designed to create long-term opportunities for women athletes, enabling them to excel beyond the current tournament cycle.
Beyond the national team, the partnership supports equipment, travel, performance tools, player welfare, and the Junior Women’s National Championships – strengthening India’s broader hockey talent ecosystem.
The alliance continues to focus on capability-building, youth programs, and expanding access for young women athletes nationwide.
