Former FCB India NCD returns to DDB Mudra Group to lead creative vision

DDB Tribal, the digital-first, full-service agency of the DDB Mudra Group, has appointed Anusheela Saha as its new Creative Head.

Anusheela moves from FCB India, where she served as National Creative Director, leading impactful, emotionally resonant campaigns while mentoring teams across the network. Prior to FCB, she held senior creative roles at Cheil, and now returns to DDB Mudra Group in a leadership capacity. She will report to Rahul Mathew, Chief Creative Officer, and succeeds Iraj Fraz, who transitions to a new role within the company.

With over 20 years of experience, Anusheela has crafted campaigns for marquee brands including Unilever, KFC, Mahindra Automobiles, Uber, Google, Samsung, UN AIDS, and Times of India. Her standout project, ‘UnBox Me’, explored gender identity in children and sparked meaningful conversations. Her work has been awarded at Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show, Clio, Spikes Asia, and Kyoorius.

Speaking on the appointment, Rahul Mathew said, “DDB Tribal has grown in strength and voice over the last few years. Anusheela’s arrival marks the next chapter in this evolution. She brings shared values around big ideas, craft, and creativity. With the brands we have, I’m excited to partner with her to create truly memorable work.”

Anusheela added, “DDB represents an ideal convergence of culture, creativity, and leadership. I’m thrilled to be back and eager to build on this incredible legacy alongside Rahul, Ashutosh, and the team at DDB Tribal.”

Outside the agency world, Anusheela is a plant lover and curates art by women and queer artists.
