Dentsu India Launches Dentsu Podcast Network to Redefine Branded Storytelling

In a strategic push to reshape branded storytelling in India, Dentsu India has launched the Dentsu Podcast Network (DPN) – a dedicated audio content vertical aimed at helping brands build deeper, more authentic connections with audiences across the country.

With podcast consumption on the rise, cutting across metros, heartlands, languages, and cultures, DPN positions itself as a full-service solution – offering end-to-end capabilities in production, hosting, distribution, and monetisation. It’s designed to move brands beyond simple awareness to building long-term trust and community engagement.

To lead this ambitious initiative, Dentsu has appointed Aditya Kuber, Agith Kuruvilla, and Ashwin Gangakhedkar as Vice Presidents, reporting to Sahil Shah, CEO, Dentsu Creative Isobar. The trio brings their extensive podcasting expertise from Ideabrew Studios, where they helped create over 650 shows, collaborated with 120+ creators, and partnered with 100+ brands across seven Indian languages.

“Podcasts have evolved into a powerful cultural force in India,” said Sahil Shah. “With DPN and the combined strength of Aditya, Agith, and Ashwin, we’re tapping into a format that’s personal, local, and scalable. It’s the future of branded content.”

The DPN leadership echoed this sentiment, highlighting podcasts as a medium where stories transcend entertainment to become cultural movements – uniquely suited to India’s linguistic and social diversity.

Amit Wadhwa, CEO, Dentsu Creative & Media Brands, South Asia, added, “This isn’t just a media play. DPN represents the convergence of culture, creativity, and commerce-setting the foundation for next-gen brand engagement across India and beyond.”

DPN will roll out vernacular IPs, creator-led formats, video podcasts, and immersive branded series in the coming months.
