DP World has announced rising Indian batting star Abhishek Sharma as the newest face of its global brand ambassador lineup. With this association, Sharma joins an elite group of sports icons already linked with the logistics major, including Sachin Tendulkar and professional golfer Tommy Fleetwood.
The partnership follows a landmark year for the young cricketer. Sharma delivered a standout performance at the 2025 DP World Asia Cup, where he amassed a record-breaking 314 runs across seven innings – the highest aggregate in a single T20I tournament. His dominant run not only earned him the Player of the Tournament award but also propelled him to the top of the ICC Men’s T20I Batter Rankings, marking the highest rating ever achieved by an Indian batter in the format.
Under the long-term agreement, Sharma will be featured across DP World’s brand communication, media activities and digital content, representing the company’s vision of innovation, excellence and global reach.

Sharma’s first appearance for the brand took place during the ‘Diwali with the Stars’ celebration at the DP World India Championship. His onboarding was introduced through a special video featuring Sachin Tendulkar and Tommy Fleetwood.
