FirstCry Subsidiary Globalbees Raises Stake in HS Fitness to 86.49% in Strategic Expansion Move

Globalbees Brands Private Limited, a key subsidiary of Brainbees Solutions Ltd., parent company of FirstCry, has increased its ownership in HS Fitness Private Limited. The company announced the acquisition of an additional 6.49% stake from existing shareholders, raising its total shareholding from 80% to 86.49%. The transaction was completed for ₹2.40 crore in cash.

HS Fitness, founded in 2013, operates under the “Reach” label and offers a portfolio of home and commercial fitness equipment alongside end-to-end services such as installation, repair, manpower deployment, and maintenance. While the business has seen a decline in standalone turnover from ₹58.75 crore in FY23 to ₹7.59 crore in FY25, its brand presence through subsidiaries continues to show traction.

Despite the revenue dip, Globalbees noted that the Reach brand collectively generated over ₹17.5 crore in FY25, indicating continued relevance in India’s evolving fitness and health category. HS Fitness’ net worth in FY25 stands at ₹18.54 crore, reflecting operational assets and brand equity built over the years.

The move underscores Globalbees’ approach toward strategic portfolio strengthening and category consolidation, particularly in high-potential consumer verticals such as fitness, health, and lifestyle. With the rise of home fitness adoption and tech-enabled wellness solutions, the increased stake positions Globalbees to drive deeper brand scale, product development, and potential omnichannel expansion.

The acquisition reinforces FirstCry’s broader ambition of building a strong ecosystem of consumer brands beyond its core childcare and retail offerings.
