From Glow to Foundation: Wellbeing Nutrition Repositions Collagen as Daily Skin Essential

Mumbai: Wellbeing Nutrition has onboarded actor Malavika Mohanan as the brand ambassador for its premium Korean Marine Collagen and Skin Fuel Glutathione range. This move signals a strategic shift in how collagen is perceived in India-transitioning from a cosmetic add-on to an essential component of everyday skin health.

As the ingestible beauty category gains momentum, the brand is leaning into a nutrition-first approach, encouraging consumers to look beyond topical skincare. With this campaign, collagen is being positioned as a “beauty protein” that supports the skin’s structure over time, rather than offering temporary, surface-level results.

The campaign will follow a digital-first storytelling format, with Malavika Mohanan simplifying collagen science and promoting consistent, ritual-based consumption. The aim is to make consumers understand that long-term skin health is built through daily habits, not quick fixes.

Saurabh Kapoor, Co-Founder of Wellbeing Nutrition, highlighted that collagen levels begin to decline by nearly 1% annually from the late 20s, yet awareness around its role remains limited. He emphasised the brand’s intent to shift consumer focus from reactive skincare to proactive nourishment.

Malavika Mohanan added that her skincare philosophy aligns with this inside-out approach, focusing on consistency and holistic wellness rather than just external application.

The Marine Collagen product uses nano-hydrolyzed Korean peptides for better absorption, while Skin Fuel Gluta supports skin brightness and resilience. Together, they reinforce Wellbeing Nutrition’s vision of building healthier skin from within.
