Fukrey Duo Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma Star in JSW MG Motor’s ‘EV Sahi Hai’ Campaign Phase 2

JSW MG Motor India has launched the second phase of its ongoing electric vehicle awareness campaign, ‘EV Sahi Hai’, featuring Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma, the beloved comedy duo from the Fukrey film franchise. This new leg of the campaign uses humour and celebrity appeal to spotlight India’s rapidly growing EV charging infrastructure.

Conceptualised by CheilX, directed by Vikalp Chhabra, and produced by Red Comet Films, the campaign was shot across Dehradun and Rishikesh and will be aired across television, digital, and radio platforms. Additionally, JSW MG Motor has launched a dedicated EV information portal: www.evsahihai.com, to guide and educate potential EV buyers.

Udit Malhotra, Head of Marketing at JSW MG Motor India, said, “The ‘EV Sahi Hai’ campaign has played a pivotal role in encouraging electric mobility. With this new phase, we’re excited to partner with voices that connect with a wide audience. By weaving humour into the narrative, we aim to spotlight how India’s charging infrastructure is already ready for the EV revolution.”

Pulkit Samrat noted, “EVs are undeniably the future. The concept really stood out to me-it was fresh, insightful, and a great way to showcase that India already has the necessary infrastructure to support electric mobility.”

Varun Sharma added, “I had my doubts about EV charging and range-until I learned how widespread the infrastructure already is. That’s what drew me to this campaign. People need to know this; it’s a game-changer.”

Amit Nandwani, National Creative Director at CheilX, commented, “In Phase 2, we moved beyond hard facts to bust myths in a fun, relatable way. With Pulkit and Varun’s natural charm and humour, we’ve created a campaign that simplifies EV adoption for the masses.”

By combining storytelling, star power, and public education, JSW MG Motor reinforces its role as a key enabler of EV awareness and transition in India.
