Getty Images (NYSE: GETY), a leading global marketplace and creator of visual content, has entered into a global, multi-year licensing partnership with Perplexity, the AI-powered search and discovery platform. The agreement grants Perplexity rights to use Getty Images’ extensive creative and editorial library across its AI products, enhancing visual experiences while ensuring responsible image use and proper attribution.

As part of the collaboration, Getty Images’ API technology will be directly integrated into Perplexity’s ecosystem, enabling the seamless display of licensed imagery within AI-generated results. The partnership aims to elevate the quality and accuracy of visual content in AI tools, while educating users about the value of properly credited and licensed visuals.
