Google has announced the launch of Gemini AI Plus, a new subscription tier positioned directly against OpenAI’s ChatGPT Go, which was unveiled recently.
Gemini AI Plus: Features and Pricing
First launched in Indonesia, Gemini AI Plus is available at a special introductory price of IDR 37,500 (≈₹200) per month, doubling to IDR 75,000 (≈₹400) post-offer. Subscribers get access to:
- Gemini 2.5 Pro and Deep Research
- Limited access to Veo 3 for video generation
- 200 monthly AI credits
- Flow AI filmmaking tool
- Notebook LLM
- Gemini integration with Gmail, Docs, Vids, and other apps
- 200 GB Google One storage for Photos, Drive, and Gmail
This plan is currently not available for Google Workspace business or education users.
ChatGPT Go vs. Gemini AI Plus
At the same ₹400 price point, ChatGPT Go offers:
