Google Pay has rolled out a new geo-targeted campaign titled Authentic Dilli Party, designed to capture the everyday moments that define life in India’s capital. Rooted in familiar city experiences, the campaign positions digital payments as a seamless part of Delhi’s daily rhythms-from food and travel to routine transactions.
Conceptualised by Lowe Lintas, the campaign features a series of films and outdoor creatives that draw from recognisable Delhi settings, habits, and seasonal behaviours. Whether it’s paying at a neighbourhood food joint, settling an auto fare, or making everyday merchant payments, the storytelling links these moments to Google Pay’s core use cases, including peer-to-peer transfers, merchant payments, and mobile recharges.
The narrative leans into local nuances, using city-specific cues to reflect how Delhiites navigate their day. By spotlighting routine interactions rather than exceptional moments, the campaign reinforces Google Pay’s role as a dependable, everyday payment companion woven into the city’s cultural and transactional fabric.
As part of the initiative, Google Pay users in Delhi can engage with the campaign through specific in-app actions such as payments and recharges. These actions unlock cashback incentives, available for a limited period until the end of the year, encouraging participation while reinforcing habitual usage.
The campaign rollout spans multiple touchpoints, including digital platforms and out-of-home media such as print, transit advertising, and hoardings across the city. Each execution is tailored with local references to enhance relevance and recall.
Through Authentic Dilli Party, Google Pay strengthens its localised marketing approach, demonstrating how geo-specific storytelling and rewards can deepen consumer connection by reflecting real, everyday city life rather than generic narratives.
