Gulshan Verma has embarked on a new chapter as Director at Amazon Ads, where he will lead the Large Clients Services (LCS) division in India. Formerly the CEO of JioAds, Verma brings over two decades of experience in digital media and advertising to his new role. His previous leadership positions include Senior Vice President and Head of Advertising at Disney+ Hotstar, where he significantly boosted the platform’s revenues, as well as key roles at Times Internet, Outbrain, Yahoo!, Ernst & Young, and McKinsey. His appointment comes at a time when Amazon India’s advertising revenue has been on the rise, reaching ₹6,649 crore in FY24, a 24% increase from the previous year .
