Havas India Launches Gate One, a Global Business & Digital Transformation Consultancy

Havas India has officially launched Gate One, its global business and digital transformation consultancy, marking a strategic expansion that strengthens its ability to deliver cutting-edge services in customer experience, marketing transformation, digital innovation, data strategy, and AI consulting.

Gate One will operate under the Havas Creative Network within the Havas Village India, becoming the sixth global agency launched by Havas in the Indian market. This move further cements Havas India’s growing role within the global Havas ecosystem.

Leadership and Mandate

The India operations will be spearheaded by Karan Ingle, appointed as Client Director – India, Gate One. Based in Bangalore, Ingle will lead efforts to scale the practice, build client relationships, and drive regional innovation. He will report to Ben Tye, Managing Partner, Gate One, and Rana Barua, Group CEO – Havas India, South East Asia & North Asia.

“This is a very exciting time for Gate One as we open our new office in India-a vibrant hub of innovation, talent, and opportunity,” said Ben Tye. “Under Karan’s leadership, I have every confidence that Gate One India will thrive and deliver transformative change for clients locally and globally.”

A Strategic Step in Havas’ Global Growth

Headquartered in London, Gate One already operates in the UK, Ireland, and the US. India marks the consultancy’s fourth global market, with France also in the pipeline as part of its ongoing global growth strategy.

Integrated Capabilities for the New Age

Gate One’s expertise spans a wide range of transformation domains, including:

  • AI, digital and data strategy
  • Customer experience and marketing transformation
  • Operational excellence and performance
  • Mergers & acquisitions
  • ESG and sustainability
  • C-suite transformation advisory

The firm partners closely with S&P 500 companies, private enterprises, and government organisations, helping leadership teams execute large-scale transformation programmes with measurable business impact.

“The launch of Gate One in India underscores our commitment to delivering strategy-led, integrated services that support businesses in their transformation journeys,” said Rana Barua. “As digital transformation becomes critical, combining Gate One’s consulting strength with Havas’ creative DNA will offer clients a truly differentiated proposition.”

India – A High-Potential Market for Transformation

For Havas, India represents not just scale, but opportunity. The increasing demand for digitally driven business transformation, coupled with India’s tech-savvy consumer base and enterprise ambition, makes it a key geography in Gate One’s expansion.

“This launch is a powerful convergence of local insight and global expertise,” said Karan Ingle, Client Director – India, Gate One. “We aim to help Indian brands reimagine their operations and customer experience for the digital era and deliver meaningful change that resonates.”
