The Coca-Cola Company has appointed Hemant Rupani as CEO of Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB), effective September 8. A seasoned leader with over two decades of experience across top firms like Mondelez, PepsiCo, and Britannia, Rupani most recently served as Business Unit President for Southeast Asia at Mondelez. He succeeds Juan Pablo Rodriguez and will report to the HCCB board. His appointment comes as HCCB, India’s largest Coca-Cola bottler, gears up for its next phase of growth, following a 40% stake acquisition by the Jubilant Bhartia Group.
