Horlicks and Hoichoi Reimagine Byomkesh’s Childhood in New Series

‘Chhoto Byomkesh’ blends curiosity, culture, and storytelling to create a strong family connect in Bengal.

WPP Media, in collaboration with Hoichoi, has launched Horlicks Chhoto Byomkesh, a branded content initiative that reimagines the childhood of Bengal’s most beloved fictional detective. Conceptualised by Team Fulcrum for HUL, the series aligns Horlicks’ core philosophy of curiosity and growth with an iconic cultural narrative.

Directed by Kamaleswar Mukherjee, the series features Aarush Dey as the young Byomkesh and Priyanka Sarkar as his mother. Set against the festive backdrop of Durga PujaChhoto Byomkesh explores themes of curiosity, mischief, and discovery, creating a heartwarming connection with families across Bengal.

Chhoto Byomkesh premiered on 24 September 2025 exclusively on Hoichoi, inviting audiences to experience the origin story of one of literature’s most celebrated sleuths through a lens of playfulness, learning, and cultural pride.
