Ibrahim Ali Khan and Tania Shroff Lead PUMA’s Speedcat Revival in India

PUMA is bringing back one of its most iconic silhouettes – the Speedcat – with a fresh, culturally rooted campaign fronted by Ibrahim Ali Khan and Tania Shroff. Merging streetwear with sophistication, the duo channels Speedcat’s effortless versatility, taking the sneaker from casual daywear to sleek evening style.

Originally born from motorsport, the Speedcat has evolved into a fashion essential. In this new India campaign, Ibrahim and Tania embody its modern spirit – one that blends heritage with Gen Z energy. Whether worn to brunch, production meetings, or afterparties, the Speedcat delivers a bold style statement, says Ibrahim, who calls it “a sneaker that always makes the right kind of noise.”

Tania Shroff adds, “I’ve loved the Speedcat ever since it jumped from the pit lane to city streets. It’s sleek, retro, and elevates any look – day or night.”

Backed by over 40 new variants for Autumn/Winter 2025, the collection includes suede and leather options, ballet-inspired metallics, and motorsport touches like tongue flaps – offering something for every style.

Shreya Sachdev, Head of Marketing at PUMA India, calls the Speedcat “symbolic of PUMA’s heritage and cultural leadership.” She notes that its low-profile design and bold colours make it ideal for everything from laid-back weekends to high-energy nights out.

Reintroduced for its 25th anniversary in 2024, the Speedcat continues to evolve, gaining global popularity with endorsements from icons like Rihanna, Rośe, Dua Lipa, and Emily Ratajkowski.

The collection is now available on PUMA.com, flagship stores, and select retailers.
