Jindal Steel has appointed Gyan Gupta as its chief AI officer to drive the company’s enterprise-wide AI transformation. In his new role, Gupta will spearhead initiatives spanning AI awareness and workforce enablement, enterprise intelligence across key functions, agentic AI and virtual employees, a unified internal AI knowledge system, and intelligent automation to enhance safety and operational excellence. He brings prior leadership experience from organisations such as Dainik Bhaskar Digital, Bada Business, and Genpact.
