The TATA Women’s Premier League (WPL) returns for its fourth season from January 9 to February 5, 2026, with JioStar locking in a strong and diverse group of sponsors-highlighting the league’s growing stature in India’s sports and marketing ecosystem.

As the official broadcaster and streaming partner, JioStar has onboarded 15 brands for WPL 2026. The sponsor roster includes State Bank of India (SBI), BHIM UPI, Kingfisher Premium Packaged Drinking Water, Kalyan Jewellers, TVS Eurogrip Tyres, VIDA, OpenAI (ChatGPT), OnePlus, Tata Capital, Policybazaar, Pidilite, Wipro, Reckitt Benckiser India, Mast Masala, and Crystal Cook N Serve. The mix reflects the league’s widening appeal across both mass and premium consumer segments.

While traditional categories such as FMCG, beverages, and consumer technology continue to anchor sponsorship interest, this season also sees notable traction from emerging sectors. BFSI, fintech and digital payments, EVs and automotive, gems and jewellery retail, and artificial intelligence brands have expanded their presence-signaling WPL’s evolution into a future-facing, high-impact media platform.

Commenting on the momentum, Anup Govindan, head of sports sales at JioStar, said WPL 2026 represents a key inflection point for women’s cricket, with brands increasingly seeking long-term associations rather than short-term visibility. He added that the growing diversity of sponsor categories reflects rising confidence in women’s cricket as a premium sporting property with scale and engagement.

The tournament kicks off on January 9, with Mumbai Indians facing Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the opening match. Fans can catch the action live on the Star Sports Network, with digital streaming available exclusively on JioHotstar.
