JSW MG Motor India has announced its partnership with pickleball athlete Monica Menon, further reinforcing the brand’s focus on promoting emerging sports and celebrating women achievers who embody passion, discipline and progress. The collaboration aligns with MG’s vision of supporting dynamic talent and reflects the spirit of agility and innovation that defines both pickleball-one of India’s fastest-growing sports-and the MG Comet EV, the brand’s smart urban electric vehicle.
Monica Menon, a former AITA National Tennis Champion and 2010 Asian Games athlete, has successfully transitioned into pickleball, showcasing resilience and adaptability. With more than 100 career podium finishes and active contributions to nurturing grassroots sports in the Delhi-NCR region, she represents the drive and determination of a new-generation athlete who mirrors JSW MG Motor India’s ethos.
Udit Malhotra, head of marketing, JSW MG Motor India, said, “Pickleball reflects the pulse of modern India-agile, intelligent and constantly evolving. Monica’s journey resonates with that same sense of purpose and precision. The MG Comet EV similarly redefines urban mobility with compact design, smart technology and expressive intent. Through Women of MG, we honour women who lead with confidence and chart their own paths with style and substance.”
Sharing her excitement, Menon said, “I’m delighted to collaborate with JSW MG Motor India, a brand that champions women and embraces new-age sports like pickleball. This partnership bridges sports and mobility-two spaces driven by precision, purpose and performance. The MG Comet EV’s smart design and intuitive features make every journey effortless. JSW MG’s commitment to supporting women and fresh ideas makes this association truly meaningful.”
The partnership adds to the growing list of women leaders supported under the Women of MG initiative, which includes golfer Tvesa Malik, Paralympic champion Deepa Malik, Tokyo Paralympic silver medallist Bhavina Patel and Gujarat’s Patan Girls football team. The initiative reflects MG’s broader mission to foster performance, precision and possibility.
MG Motor India continues to strengthen its social impact through programs such as Sewa, Womentorship, Drive Her Back, Worth Waiting For, Prerna and MG Changemakers, reaffirming its commitment to empowering women and enabling community progress.
