Kirloskar Industries has appointed George Verghese as Managing Director for a five-year term starting May 21, 2025, pending shareholder approval. A seasoned leader with over 20 years of experience at companies like Dell, Reliance Communications, and Cummins, Verghese joined the Kirloskar Group in 2021 as VP of Group HR and later served as CHRO and Chief of Staff at Kirloskar Oil Engines. He played a key role in the company’s strategic turnaround. Welcoming him, Chairman Atul Kirloskar highlighted his strengths in strategy, operations, HR, and marketing. Verghese holds a master’s in management from XLRI Jamshedpur and an engineering degree from the College of Engineering, Munnar.
