Kobalt has announced a global publishing partnership with India-based Madverse Music Group, a leading music distribution and publishing platform serving independent artists and labels across India and South Asia. The collaboration aims to empower creators by providing seamless access to global publishing infrastructure and monetization opportunities.

Under the partnership, Kobalt will deliver comprehensive publishing administration services to Madverse’s network of songwriters, composers, and producers. This includes royalty collection, metadata management, and access to sync opportunities across more than 180 territories. The collaboration addresses longstanding gaps in international royalty collection and publishing for Indian and South Asian creators, enabling them to fully capitalize on their work worldwide.

Madverse Music Group operates a technology-driven platform supporting over 150,000 independent artists and labels. CEO Rohan Nesho Jain emphasized the significance of the partnership, noting that publishing royalties act as a “musician’s pension fund,” generating long-term income. He added that this initiative ensures creators are compensated fairly, building sustainable careers while strengthening the diversity of the music ecosystem.
