Laqshya and Arpan Drive Awareness with Impactful Handcuff OOH for Child Safety Week

Laqshya Media Group, in partnership with Arpan, has rolled out a striking handcuff-themed installation in Mumbai as part of Child Safety Week. The activation aligns with Arpan’s campaign theme, #POCSOPakadLega, aimed at raising awareness around child sexual abuse while emphasising the legal consequences under the POCSO Act.

Installed along the high-traffic Santacruz–Chembur Link Road (SCLR), the large-scale structure leverages long dwell time and daily commuter volume to amplify visibility. The oversized handcuff element serves as a stark visual cue, symbolising accountability and reinforcing the message that offenders cannot escape the law. The execution involved detailed planning, permissions and safety checks to ensure compliance without disrupting public movement.

Actor Vidya Balan, Arpan’s goodwill ambassador, fronts the outdoor and digital extensions of the campaign, further boosting reach and recall.

Commenting on the activation, Atul Shrivastava, director & CEO of Laqshya Media Group, shared, “We wanted to build more than a static message-we wanted to create a public reminder. This installation stands for one clear statement: child safety is everyone’s responsibility.”

Arpan’s founder and CEO, Pooja Taparia, added, “Now in its seventh year, Child Safety Week continues to open conversations that were once silenced. The #POCSOPakadLega message strengthens urgency and awareness, and Laqshya’s support has helped amplify it meaningfully.”

With this initiative, Laqshya continues its commitment to purpose-led OOH and experiential public awareness campaigns promoting safety, accountability and social change
