Gifts ₹5 Lakh Home Makeover to LGBTQIA+ couple, promoting inclusion and belonging
MagickHome, the global interiors brand, has announced the first winners of its Pride Month initiative, “Make Room for Pride,” reaffirming its mission to design with inclusivity, diversity, and empathy at its core.
The first recipients of the campaign are Mayank and Sougata, a Bengaluru-based LGBTQIA+ couple from a multigenerational family. Having recently moved into their new home, they envisioned a space that balanced functionality with warmth – reflecting both their individuality and shared family values.
“The team at MagickHome truly understood our routines and what makes our family dynamic work. The makeover feels personal, comfortable, and deeply reflective of who we are,” said Mayank.
Through Make Room for Pride, MagickHome goes beyond symbolic gestures to create tangible social change. The nationwide campaign offers free home makeovers worth ₹5 lakh each to one LGBTQIA+ couple and one individual, underscoring the brand’s belief that every person deserves a home that mirrors their identity and love.
“The campaign was never just a design project,” shared Jayesh Sali, Head of Marketing, MagickHome India. “It’s about making space – for identity, love, and pride. That’s the heart of this initiative.”
The makeover began with detailed consultations to understand the couple’s lifestyle and vision of home. The final design balances elegance with emotion, featuring muted tones, layered textures, and ambient lighting – creating a sanctuary that celebrates connection and authenticity.
Launched during Pride Month 2025, Make Room for Pride invited LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples across India to share their stories. With this initiative, MagickHome continues its mission to design homes that empower people to live authentically – creating spaces where everyone can truly belong.
