Maruti Suzuki has introduced “Quickstop,” a new service format designed to make vehicle maintenance faster, more accessible, and seamlessly integrated into daily routines. Built as compact, container-based service units, Quickstop enables routine servicing and minor repairs without the need for traditional workshop visits.
These prefabricated units are strategically placed in high-density locations such as corporate campuses, airports, and fleet hubs-areas where vehicles remain parked for extended periods. The idea is simple: instead of customers going to service centres, the service comes to them.
Equipped with essential tools, Quickstop units require minimal space and can be deployed quickly, making them a scalable alternative to full-fledged workshops. The model caters to both individual car owners and fleet operators, helping reduce downtime while offering convenience. Office-goers can drop off their cars during work hours and pick them up once done, without disrupting their schedules.
The initiative follows a collaborative approach, where Maruti Suzuki’s dealer partners operate the facilities, while corporate or fleet partners provide space. This enables cost-efficient expansion across urban locations where traditional workshops may not be feasible.
Quickstop also integrates eco-friendly practices, including waterless car washes and battery-powered equipment, aligning with sustainability goals.
Currently in its pilot phase, the company has rolled out 10 units across cities like Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad-signalling a shift towards on-demand, proximity-based automotive servicing in urban India.
