The partnership introduces an AR-powered platform that lets users experiment with festive makeup looks, blending technology and culture to make beauty fun and inclusive.
Maybelline New York has teamed up with Snapchat to launch MNY Look Studio, an AR-powered beauty experience for India’s festive season. The feature allows users to explore and experiment with makeup styles, discover Maybelline products suited to their aesthetic, and blend technology with self-expression.
Developed by Snapchat’s in-house innovation studio, MNY Look Studio functions as a virtual makeup artist, enabling users to design, save, and share looks. Styles are inspired by India’s cultural calendar – from Navratri to Diwali – making beauty experiences interactive, inclusive, and personalized.
Key features include:
- Festive Looks: Creative styles inspired by Diwali, Temple Look, Navratri, and Pujo traditions.
- Personalized Color Analysis: Smart recommendations based on skin undertones.
- Simplified Design: A user-friendly interface for all audiences.
- Ongoing Updates: Additional looks launching through October to keep the experience dynamic.
Jessica Rode, General Manager – Maybelline New York, India, said: “MNY Look Studio brings an interactive way for Indian consumers to explore makeup. Snapchat’s AR expertise and Gen Z engagement help us deliver innovation that is immersive, fun, and culturally relevant.”
Resh Sidhu, Global Director, Snap AR Developer Marketing & Branded Innovation, Snap Inc., added: “This collaboration demonstrates how AR and AI can make beauty more useful, accessible, and personalized while remaining fun.”
Together, Maybelline and Snapchat merge creativity and technology to make festive beauty more engaging, accessible, and celebratory for Indian users.
