McCain Foods has introduced a fresh new brand identity and packaging design at an event in Ahmedabad, Gujarat – the city where the company first launched operations in India. The rebrand reflects McCain’s continued focus on food quality, sustainable sourcing, and stronger customer connections.
The updated identity was unveiled by Mainak Dhar, Managing Director, McCain Foods India, alongside actor and brand ambassador Karisma Kapoor, McCain’s partner farmers, and key industry stakeholders. At the heart of this transformation is the new brand platform, ‘Rooted in Real’, which underscores McCain’s commitment to real food, responsible farming, and meaningful relationships.
“We are proud to present a visual identity that reflects our legacy while embracing a future centered on authenticity and purpose,” said Dhar. “Our new packaging aims to inspire trust and excitement by showcasing the quality of our ingredients, the honesty of our flavors, and the everyday moments that McCain is part of. This is more than a design change – it’s a reaffirmation of our promise to consumers.”
The new logo and packaging are designed for better shelf visibility and to reinforce the perception of frozen food as fresh, natural, and high-quality. The visuals depict family and social settings, where McCain products are typically enjoyed.
Karisma Kapoor added, “McCain has always brought joy and warmth into our homes. This new identity builds on that legacy and adds more depth – celebrating togetherness, goodness, and great taste in every bite.”
