McDonald’s India – North and East, operated by Connaught Plaza Restaurants Pvt. Ltd. (CPRL), has introduced two new premium offerings under its Signature Collection with the launch of the Cheesy Mushroom Burger and the Cheesy Chicken Burger. The new additions reflect the brand’s response to evolving consumer preferences for richer flavours, layered textures and a more elevated burger experience.
Over the past year, McDonald’s has seen increasing demand for indulgent yet accessible burgers that go beyond everyday formats. The refreshed Signature Collection has been designed to cater to this shift, offering carefully crafted builds that combine premium ingredients with bold flavour profiles. Each burger focuses on depth, mouthfeel and balance, delivering a more refined take on familiar favourites.
The Cheesy Mushroom Burger, priced at ₹239, features a cheesy mushroom patty paired with savoury Italian sauce, tangy gherkins and crisp lettuce, all served in a protein bun. The Cheesy Chicken Burger, also priced at ₹239, includes a flame-grilled chicken patty layered with a juicy egg patty, habanero sauce, gherkins and crunchy lettuce, again housed in a protein bun. Together, the two variants aim to offer distinct taste experiences while staying true to McDonald’s signature comfort.
Staying aligned with its “Proudly Indian” commitment, McDonald’s has sourced all key ingredients for the new burgers-including mushrooms, lettuce, chicken and eggs-from trusted Indian suppliers, supporting local partners while ensuring freshness and quality.
Commenting on the launch, Rajeev Ranjan, managing director, McDonald’s India – North and East, said the Signature Collection is about transforming everyday burgers into indulgent experiences through bold flavours and thoughtful ingredient layering, while remaining rooted in Indian preferences.
The Signature Collection is now available across McDonald’s outlets in North and East India via dine-in, takeaway, drive-thru and delivery platforms.
