McDonald’s India (West & South) Appoints Starcom as Media AOR

Madison Media exits after a two-decade-long partnership, having handled the account since 2004.

Starcom Named McDonald’s Media AOR

Publicis Groupe’s Starcom India has been appointed the new media Agency of Record (AOR) for McDonald’s India (West and South), taking over from Madison Media, which had held the account since 2004.

Welcoming the new partnership, Arvind R P, Chief Marketing Officer, McDonald’s India (West and South), said:

“We welcome Starcom India as our new Agency of Record for media. Starcom brings a strong blend of strategic thinking and future-forward capabilities across data, digital, and tech, making them well placed to partner us on our growth journey.”

He also acknowledged the outgoing agency’s long-standing contribution:

“We would also like to thank Madison for a collaborative partnership that has spanned the past two decades.”

The move marks a significant shift in McDonald’s India’s media strategy, with Starcom now leading the charge in a competitive and evolving consumer landscape.
