A decade after co-creating Marcel, Microsoft and Publicis Groupe have expanded their strategic partnership to build a full-stack, AI-driven marketing ecosystem for the agentic era. The collaboration aims to unify legacy systems, AI agents, and identity-based data to help brands connect marketing efforts directly to business outcomes.
At the core of this partnership is the integration of Microsoft’s cloud and AI capabilities with Publicis’ transformation and data expertise. Leveraging Microsoft Azure, Publicis Sapient’s Slingshot framework will enable organizations to modernize infrastructure and transition to cloud-native environments, setting the foundation for scalable AI adoption.
The partnership also introduces advanced AI agent deployment across workflows. By integrating tools like Microsoft Copilot and enterprise AI systems, brands can automate processes across marketing, commerce, and customer engagement. Publicis’ Bodhi platform will further allow businesses to deploy secure, enterprise-grade AI agents that connect data, workflows, and decision-making in real time.
A key differentiator is the identity-driven data model powered by Epsilon. By combining proprietary data with AI capabilities, brands can deliver highly personalized, performance-driven campaigns. From identifying high-value audiences to optimizing media spend dynamically, the system is designed to drive measurable impact.
As part of the deal, Publicis will adopt Microsoft 365 Copilot across its global workforce and name Microsoft as a preferred cloud partner. Additionally, Publicis becomes Microsoft’s global media agency of record, strengthening a partnership built to redefine marketing through AI, creativity, and connected intelligence.
