Myntra has unveiled its Women’s Day campaign ‘Fashion Ki Adalat’ featuring Archana Puran Singh as judge alongside digital creators Sakshi Sindwani, Ruhee Dosani, and Meghna Kaur. The initiative tackles the unsolicited judgments women regularly face regarding their fashion and beauty choices.
Set in a courtroom of style, the campaign employs a humorous approach to mirror everyday scrutiny women endure, turning fashion criticisms into legal accusations. Each influencer faces different charges: Sindwani for flaunting her curves, Kaur for bold outfits and heavy makeup, and Dosani for wearing oversized clothes from men’s collections.
The creators powerfully counter these allegations – Sindwani asserts that fashion transcends size, Kaur emphasizes personal choice over external approval, and Dosani challenges gender-based fashion norms. Judge Archana Puran Singh ultimately delivers the verdict: “Only you decide what to wear. Fashion has no size, gender, or age limits.”
Sunder Balasubramanian, Chief Marketing Officer at Myntra, explains: “This Women’s Day, Myntra celebrates the boundless power of self-expression. We believe fashion and beauty are not mere adornments, but potent tools for women to reclaim their narratives and defy societal expectations.”
He added that Myntra strives to “cultivate a community where women are encouraged to experiment, innovate, and fearlessly embody their true strength and beauty” through democratizing access to diverse styles and leveraging technology for personalized discovery.
The campaign, conceptualized by Ideaz Farm and directed by Yash D, concludes with the influencers celebrating their acquittal – reinforcing Myntra’s commitment to individual style and self-expression.
