NDTV Good Times has launched the India chapter of its ‘My Story’ World Tour, opening with a live concert by Yo Yo Honey Singh in Delhi. The event was designed as a storytelling-driven musical experience, tracing the artist’s personal and professional journey through different phases of his career.
The concert followed a four-part narrative format titled The Rise, The Fame, The Darkness, and The Comeback, with each segment representing a defining period in Honey Singh’s life and music career. Through performances and visual storytelling, the show attempted to give audiences a deeper look into the artist’s evolution.
The first segment, The Rise, focused on Honey Singh’s early years in the music industry and featured songs such as Dope Shop. This was followed by The Fame, which highlighted the phase when the artist gained widespread popularity, with performances of hit tracks including Brown Rang and Blue Eyes. The set also included popular Bollywood-era songs like Blue Hai Pani Pani and 4 Bottle Vodka.
In The Darkness segment, Honey Singh addressed the audience and reflected on a challenging period in his personal life. The performance format shifted here, combining music with personal storytelling and conversation with the audience.
The final section, The Comeback, celebrated his return to the music scene with newer songs such as Millionaire. The show blended stage performances with large-scale visuals, audio-visual storytelling, aerial dance acts and live recording elements to create an immersive concert experience.
Audience participation was also a key part of the event. Winners of the Love Dose contest were invited on stage, while one fan received a motorcycle during the show. The evening also marked Honey Singh’s birthday, which was celebrated with a cake-cutting moment on stage.
The Delhi concert marks the beginning of the India leg of the ‘My Story’ World Tour, which will travel to multiple cities across the country.
