ShareChat, India’s homegrown social media platform, has appointed Neha Markanda as Chief Business Officer for both ShareChat and Moj. With over two decades of experience across tech, FMCG, and healthcare, Markanda steps into this strategic leadership role as the company intensifies its revenue ambitions and regional market focus.
Previously Head of Industry – E-commerce at Google India, Markanda led business transformation initiatives across retail, health tech, and AI-led solutions. Her career spans leadership roles at Meta (Facebook), GSK Consumer Healthcare, PepsiCo, ITC, and HCL Technologies. Known for her deep expertise in brand building and revenue strategy, she brings a unique blend of consumer and digital insight to her new role.
At ShareChat, Markanda will be responsible for scaling revenue, deepening advertiser relationships, and driving strategic partnerships. Her appointment comes at a pivotal time as the company reports profitability and sets a revenue run rate target of ₹1,200 crore for FY26. The combined monthly active users of ShareChat and Moj have now reached 325 million.
