Nestlé S.A., the global food and beverage giant, has acquired a minority stake in Drools Pet Food, a leading Indian pet food brand.
This marks Nestlé’s first direct investment in an Indian brand, underlining the company’s growing interest in India’s rapidly expanding pet care market.
Drools, which recently attained unicorn status, will continue to operate with strategic and operational independencedespite the investment.
