Network18, one of India’s leading media conglomerates, has announced the launch of the NextGen Young Leadership Program (NYLP)-a future-ready initiative aimed at identifying and nurturing high-potential young talent from premier Business, Law, and Engineering institutions across the country.
More than a conventional entry-level opportunity, NYLP is designed as a career launchpad that enables participants to begin their professional journeys with strong foundational exposure. The program offers early, hands-on experience in the rapidly evolving media-tech ecosystem, allowing young professionals to learn, contribute, and grow from the very first day.
Targeted at engineering and B-school students, along with media-tech enthusiasts, NYLP blends real-time business exposure, technology-driven projects, and on-the-job training to deliver a high-impact learning experience. Participants will work on live business challenges, gain cross-functional exposure across multiple platforms, and receive mentorship from experienced industry leaders-helping them develop both strategic and practical skills.
Speaking on the launch, Sanchayan Paul, Chief Human Resource Officer, Network18, said the program aims to build a capable, young, and diverse talent pipeline. He highlighted Network18’s focus on forming long-term partnerships with universities and educational institutions while creating a strong community of campus ambassadors aligned with the organisation’s evolving media-tech vision.
With NYLP, Network18 reinforces its commitment to investing in youth, innovation, and future-ready leadership. The initiative prepares aspiring professionals to thrive in dynamic, technology-led news, information, and infotainment businesses, while contributing meaningfully to one of India’s most influential media networks.
Network18 operates over 20 television channels in more than 12 languages, along with seven digital news platforms across 13 languages, including well-known brands such as CNN-News18, CNBC-TV18, Moneycontrol, Firstpost, and Forbes India.
