Actor and producer Deepika Padukone has unveiled The OnSet Program, a new initiative under her Create With Me platform, aimed at discovering and supporting emerging creative and technical talent across Indian films, television, and advertising. Designed as a structured, hands-on opportunity, the programme focuses on real on-set exposure rather than purely theoretical learning.

The OnSet Program offers participants a chance to work directly within professional production environments, allowing them to observe, assist, and contribute to live projects. It is structured to benefit both newcomers seeking practical experience and individuals with prior exposure who are ready to take on greater responsibility within a working set-up. By combining learning with execution, the initiative bridges the gap between aspiration and industry access.

In its first phase, the programme will open roles across a wide range of departments, including writing, direction, cinematography, lighting, editing, sound design, art direction, costume design, hair styling, make-up artistry, and production. This broad scope reflects the collaborative nature of visual storytelling and highlights the importance of every creative and technical role involved in content creation.
