Nikhil Kamath Invests in Creative Agency One Hand Clap

The agency recently gained buzz for its MS Dhoni–Animal parody campaign for e-cycle brand EMotorad.

Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath has made a strategic investment in One Hand Clap, the creative agency founded by Aakash Shah and Naveed Manakkodan, both former members of the now-dissolved comedy collective All India Bakchod (AIB).

The announcement was shared via Aakash Shah’s Instagram, where he reflected on the agency’s journey and celebrated this new chapter with Kamath on board.

“Thank you for seeking us out. Here’s to the next decade of building killer stuff together,” Shah wrote, signaling a new era of growth for the agency.

Founded in 2019, One Hand Clap has steadily carved a niche in the content and advertising world through sharp, culturally resonant storytelling. The agency’s recent viral success came with the Animal-inspired campaign for EMotorad, where MS Dhoni parodied Ranbir Kapoor’s character—a creative move that gained widespread attention and reinforced the agency’s flair for inventive, high-impact content.

What began as a passion project has grown into a full-scale operation with an 85-member team and an impressive client roster that includes Swiggy, BGMI, Netflix, CoinDCX, and Bajaj Chetak.

Kamath’s investment brings both capital and credibility to One Hand Clap as it scales its creative and production capabilities. Known for backing unconventional ventures across tech, finance, and culture, Kamath’s involvement marks a significant milestone in the agency’s journey.

With fresh momentum and visionary support, One Hand Clap is now positioned to amplify its creative footprint in India’s fast-evolving media landscape.
