The Ad Club has announced the appointment of five distinguished industry leaders as jury chairs for the ABBY Awards 2025, powered by One Show. Scheduled to take place at Goafest 2025 in Goa, these appointments span key categories, reflecting the diverse expertise of the chairs.
Nina Elavia Jaipuria has been appointed as the Jury Chair for the Broadcaster category. With over three decades of experience in media, FMCG, services, marketing, and advertising, Nina has held significant roles, including Senior Executive Vice President & Head of Hindi & Kids’ TV Network at Viacom18 Media Pvt. Ltd. She has been recognized multiple times in Impact’s “50 Most Influential Women in Indian Media, Marketing, and Advertising” and chairs the women empowerment committee at the International Advertising Association (IAA).
Niraj Ruparel, Creative Tech Lead at WPP & GroupM India, has been appointed as the Jury Chair for the Technology category. Known for pioneering transformative work in voice AI, teleportation cafés, and AI-powered inclusion tools, Niraj has received multiple Cannes Lions and Effies awards. He is also a respected evangelist of creative technology.
Deepshikha Dharmaraj, CEO of Burson Group India, has been appointed as the Jury Chair for the Public Relations category. With over 29 years of experience, she has led strategic communications for major clients and has been a jury member for prestigious award shows like Cannes PR Lions and D&AD Awards.
Chandani Samdaria, Executive Creative Director at L&K Saatchi & Saatchi, has been appointed as the Jury Chair for the Green Abby category. With over 15 years in the creative industry, she has worked on campaigns for global brands and has been recognized with awards including a Gold at Abby Awards and a Silver at Clio.
Praful Akali, Founder & Managing Director of Medulla Communications, has been appointed as the Jury Chair for the Health category. An award-winning healthcare creative, Praful led Medulla to win the Healthcare Advertising Agency of The Year at Cannes Lions in 2016 and has served on juries at prestigious award shows like Cannes Lions and Clio.
