OnePlus India Launches ‘The Edge of Time’ — A Cinematic Tribute to Heritage, Shot on OnePlus 15

OnePlus India has introduced ‘The Edge of Time’, a four-part short film series celebrating fading crafts, cultures, and artistic legacies. The project brings together four influential creators — Masaba Gupta, Ranveer Brar, Shaaz Jung, and Shakti Mohan — each exploring a unique narrative captured professionally on the OnePlus 15 with Dolby Vision.

The campaign showcases the creators stepping behind the camera for the first time, transforming the smartphone into a filmmaking tool. Shot #ShotOnOnePlus15, the series highlights the device’s triple 50MP system, 4K 120fps recording, and advanced HDR tone mapping, positioning it as India’s first Android smartphone capable of capturing Dolby Vision films with cinematic clarity.

Speaking on the initiative, Ishita Grover, Director of Marketing, OnePlus India, said the campaign celebrates meaningful storytelling enhanced by technology. Dolby Laboratories echoed this sentiment, with Sameer Seth affirming the collaboration as a milestone in bringing professional-grade imaging to everyday creators.

Each film spotlights a time-sensitive cultural practice:

  • Masaba Gupta documents India’s traditional dyeing craft,
  • Ranveer Brar explores culinary roots,
  • Shaaz Jung captures evolving wildlife landscapes, and
  • Shakti Mohan blends classical and contemporary dance.

Through emotion-driven storytelling and breathtaking visuals, the campaign reinforces OnePlus and Dolby’s ongoing commitment to empowering creators. ‘The Edge of Time’ not only preserves heritage but establishes a new benchmark for smartphone cinematography in India.
