OnePlus is celebrating Diwali with purpose through its new campaign, ‘Light a Light, Plant a Plant,’ featuring actor and environmental advocate Jackie Shroff. In collaboration with JK Foundation, the brand has pledged to plant one lakh saplings across India, building on its 2019 initiative that saw 20,000 trees planted nationwide.
The campaign film delivers a heartfelt message: as families light diyas this festive season, they are also invited to light up the planet’s future by planting a sapling. Jackie Shroff’s presence reinforces the theme of environmental stewardship, reflecting his long-standing commitment to greener cities.
Conceptualised in-house and produced by OML (Only Much Louder), the film blends OnePlus’ technology-first ethos with its sustainability vision-drawing a parallel between the clean, fast experience of OxygenOS and the brand’s desire for cleaner air and greener surroundings.

The plantation drive, executed with JK Foundation and local partners, will focus on native species and provide ongoing care. OnePlus will share periodic updates with its community, encouraging them to stay connected with the positive change they helped create.
