Prime Video has announced the exclusive global streaming premiere of Thamma, the latest supernatural horror-comedy from Maddock Films, now available to viewers in India and across more than 200 countries and territories. Produced by Dinesh Vijan under the Maddock Films banner and Amar Kaushik, and directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the film marks a new chapter in the expanding Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU).

Written by Niren Bhatt, Arun Fulara and Suresh Mathew, Thamma features Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles, with Paresh Rawal and Faisal Malik in pivotal appearances. The film also includes special cameos by Varun Dhawan, Abhishek Banerjee, Nora Fatehi and Malaika Arora.

Set in a mythical realm, the story follows Alok (Khurrana), humanity’s final hope, who teams up with the mystical Tadaka (Mandanna) to battle Yakshasan (Siddiqui), a dark ruler threatening global destruction. Blending horror, comedy, romance and mythology, Thamma also features narrative connections to earlier MHCU titles such as Stree, Stree 2, Munjya and Bhediya, hinting at future crossovers.
