JioStar, the official broadcaster of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), has confirmed four new brand partnerships for the upcoming Season 12, set to kick off on August 29, 2025, in Visakhapatnam.
Joining as sponsors this season are Shriram Finance Limited (BFSI), UltraTech Cement (Infrastructure), Birla Tilestix(Tile Adhesives), and Red Bull (Energy Drink). These additions highlight the growing appeal of PKL among major brands, with more partnerships expected to be announced in the lead-up to the tournament.
The Pro Kabaddi League continues to maintain its position as India’s second-largest sporting league, following the IPL. Season 11 garnered over 283 million viewers across television and digital platforms. In Hindi-speaking markets alone, PKL attracted 140 million viewers, surpassing several mainstream entertainment shows. Notably, fans watched an average of 64% of match time, reflecting strong engagement.
Season 12 comes with a refreshed format and expanded broadcast coverage. Matches will be available on 10+ TV channels and streamed via seven language feeds on JioHotstar, aiming to reach an even broader audience.
The season opener will feature a Southern derby between Telugu Titans and Tamil Thalaivas, setting the stage for another high-octane tournament.
With an expanding viewer base, enhanced coverage, and increasing brand interest, PKL Season 12 is poised to elevate the sport’s popularity even further.
