Publicis Groupe has announced the acquisition of HEPMIL Media Group, one of Southeast Asia’s leading creator and influencer marketing companies. Headquartered in Singapore, HEPMIL manages a network of over 3,000 creators and partners with more than 450 brands across six regional markets. Following the acquisition, HEPMIL will continue to operate under its existing brand while collaborating closely with Publicis Groupe’s regional teams.
The move enhances Publicis Groupe’s capabilities in data-driven influencer marketing and social content, as the Southeast Asian influencer market is expected to grow 12–15% annually, reaching USD 1.4 billion by 2030.
Built on creator-led storytelling and culturally relevant content, HEPMIL has achieved consistent double-digit growth through its HEPMIL Creators Network (HCN), fostering deep relationships with local creators and communities.
By integrating HEPMIL with Publicis’ data assets, including Epsilon and Lotame’s ID graph covering 800 million regional consumer profiles, the Groupe aims to create Southeast Asia’s first end-to-end influencer solution-combining social strategy, creator management, and measurable content performance.
Arthur Sadoun, chairman & CEO of Publicis Groupe, said:
“With HEPMIL’s reach and content expertise, and our data and media ecosystem, we’re building Southeast Asia’s most connected influencer platform to drive measurable business outcomes for clients.”
Amrita Randhawa, CEO of Publicis Groupe Southeast Asia, added:
“HEPMIL’s origins in culturally resonant content make them the perfect partner to bring authenticity and accountability to the influencer ecosystem.”
HEPMIL co-founder and CEO Karl Mak said the acquisition marks “the next chapter of acceleration,” unlocking new opportunities for creators, clients, and teams across the region.
