Online bus ticketing platform redBus has launched a touching Mother’s Day campaign titled ‘Make New Memories with Maa’, urging people to reconnect with their mothers through shared journeys and meaningful time together. The campaign centers on the emotional distance that often builds as children grow older and how travel can serve as a bridge back to warmth, connection, and cherished memories.
The short film follows a single mother living alone in Delhi, whose adult children, Rohan and Sneha, return home just before Mother’s Day. As they reminisce over an old travel photo, they realise it’s been over a decade since they last took a trip with their mother. Moved by this realisation, they book a vacation using the redBus app and present her with an empty photo frame titled “Our perfect trip with Maa”, symbolising a fresh start for new memories.
The campaign powerfully conveys the idea that travel is more than movement – it’s reconnection. It portrays the quiet strength of a mother who has kept the family together and shows how even small actions, like a trip, can reignite familial bonds.
Pallavi Chopra, CMO of redBus, said, “We wanted to highlight the relatable theme of growing apart from our mothers as life gets busier. Travel has a unique way of bringing people back together, and redBus is proud to be part of those journeys.”
The film concludes with the family laughing on a bus, recreating the old photo—with a renewed sense of togetherness and gratitude.
