Marico Limited has launched a new television and digital campaign for its fabric enhancer brand Revive, tailored specifically for audiences in Kerala. Conceptualised by Top Notch Media and Entertainment, the campaign uses humour and exaggerated storytelling to highlight the product’s core benefit-long-lasting fabric stiffness.
Set against a rural village backdrop, the film unfolds around a quirky situation where a broken bridge leaves residents stranded. In a playful twist, the narrative introduces an unconventional solution: a garment treated with Revive is used as a makeshift bridge. This exaggerated visual metaphor effectively demonstrates the product’s stiffness while keeping the tone light and entertaining.
The campaign features popular Malayalam television actors Tessa Mariya and Ameen Madathi, leveraging regional familiarity to connect more deeply with local audiences. By incorporating known faces and culturally resonant storytelling, the brand aims to enhance relatability and engagement within the Kerala market.
According to Marico’s leadership, the campaign is designed to tap into Kerala’s strong appreciation for narrative-driven content while reinforcing Revive’s functional promise in a memorable way. The blend of humour and dramatization allows the brand to communicate product benefits without relying on conventional demonstrations.
Currently being rolled out across television and digital platforms in the state, the campaign reflects Revive’s ongoing focus on localised marketing. It also underscores Marico’s broader strategy of aligning innovation with regional insights to deliver relevant and impactful consumer experiences across India.
