Techno Paints and Chemicals has appointed cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar as its brand ambassador for the next three years, aiming to strengthen its presence across India and support its upcoming growth initiatives. The company, which has established a strong footing in the domestic paints sector over the past 25 years, currently operates in eight states and is targeting rapid expansion into new regions.
Chairman Akuri Srinivas Reddy expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “We are honoured to work with one of the world’s most iconic cricketers and Bharat Ratna, Sachin Tendulkar. With his association, we look forward to achieving bigger milestones, including expansion and our IPO this year. There could be no better ambassador or growth partner.”
The company plans to file its DRHP in 2026-27, aiming to raise Rs. 500 crores through the IPO. Techno Paints operates a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant at Pashamylaram near Hyderabad and an in-house R&D center, ensuring quality and innovation across its product portfolio.
In addition to its current presence in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi, Odisha, and Chandigarh, the company intends to enter Himachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, West Bengal, and Uttar Pradesh by the end of 2026. Beyond India, Techno Paints is also planning to expand into the Middle East in 2026-27.
Sachin Tendulkar’s association reflects Techno Paints’ ambition to combine credibility, innovation, and nationwide reach, positioning the brand as a leading player in the paints sector while connecting with a wide consumer base.
