Samsung India’s #WithGalaxy photography campaign has entered the Guinness World Records, reinforcing how brand storytelling can scale when technology and community participation come together. The nationwide initiative, created for Galaxy S series users, set two global records-becoming the world’s largest smartphone photography competition and generating the most contributions to an online photo sentence, resulting in a massive collaborative digital artwork.
Running from December 30, 2025, to January 26, 2026, the campaign invited Indian citizens to capture and share everyday moments using their Galaxy S smartphones. The response was striking: over 31,000 photo submissions poured in from across the country, each adding a unique visual voice to the campaign. These entries were brought together into a visual mosaic that reflected the many layers of life in India.
The campaign was structured around four themes-Faces of India, Sights of India, Spirit of India, and Colors of India-spanning portraits, landscapes, cultural details, and everyday moments. This thematic approach allowed Samsung to showcase not just camera capabilities, but also the emotional and cultural depth that smartphone photography can capture.
Filmmaker Kabir Khan, along with more than 30 regional photographers, anchored the initiative, helping drive participation and regional outreach. Their involvement added credibility while encouraging creators from diverse geographies to take part.
Commenting on the achievement, Raju Pullan, Senior Vice President, MX Business, Samsung India, said the campaign amplified consumer voices while celebrating India’s diversity and spirit. From a brand perspective, #WithGalaxy stands out as a powerful example of participatory marketing-where users become co-creators, and technology becomes a tool for cultural storytelling at scale.
