Nissan has announced a key leadership shift, with Saurabh Vatsa taking on additional responsibility for commercial operations in India from August 1. Currently the Managing Director of Nissan Motor India, Vatsa will now report to Leon Dorssers, SVP & Chief of Commercial Operations, AMIEO. This transition follows the exit of Frank Torres, who will step down by August 31 due to personal reasons. Vatsa’s expanded role comes at a crucial time, as he is tasked with boosting market engagement, channel performance, and customer experience to counter recent sales declines.
