The Diwali campaign encourages young Indians, especially women, to take charge of their financial futures through informed investing.
SBICAP Securities (SSL), part of the State Bank of India Group, has unveiled its new festive campaign, #KaroKhudPeInvest, aimed at inspiring financial independence and self-confidence among young Indians and women.
At the centre of the campaign is a heartwarming film capturing a father-daughter conversation during Diwali preparations. The father gently encourages his daughter to begin investing, saying, “Diwali sirf ghar roshan karne ka nahi, apna bhavishya roshan karne ka bhi waqt hai” and “Sabse sahi investment hai khud par.” The dialogue reinforces the campaign’s core message – that the best investment one can make is in oneself.

We want young Indians to take ownership of their financial journeys and move toward true independence. The film reflects the evolving family dynamic where empowerment begins with encouragement.”
Through #KaroKhudPeInvest, SSL aims to simplify financial literacy, promote early investing habits, and reframe financial independence as a key part of personal growth. Complementing the campaign, the company is also hosting a series of Diwali webinars to guide first-time investors on smart portfolio building and long-term wealth creation.
