Senco Gold & Diamonds has introduced “The Shape of You,” a design-led jewellery styling feature that uses face-shape analysis to guide customers toward more personalized choices. Rolled out across select retail stores and the brand’s mobile app, the initiative reflects Senco’s move beyond traditional, outfit-led styling toward a more individual-centric approach.
The feature analyses facial structure, proportions, and contours through a face-scanning system to recommend jewellery silhouettes that complement different face shapes. Based on principles of balance and form, the system suggests elongated designs for softer contours, curved styles for angular faces, and statement pieces to create visual harmony. Rather than prescribing fixed rules, the recommendations serve as intuitive guidance, encouraging customers to explore styles that resonate with their features and personal preferences.
According to Senco, “The Shape of You” is designed to make jewellery selection more confident and informed, particularly for customers who may feel overwhelmed by choice. By focusing on facial features instead of fleeting trends, the brand aims to help consumers discover pieces that feel natural and expressive.
Commenting on the concept, Joita Sen, Director and Head of Marketing and Design at Senco Gold & Diamonds, said the initiative is rooted in understanding before creation. She noted that jewellery should feel right not because it is fashionable, but because it reflects the wearer’s identity, adding that the new feature translates instinctive design responses into a seamless, intuitive experience.
