Shubho Sengupta has joined Nirmit Bharat, a wholly owned subsidiary of the government-backed Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), after his tenure at Karmayogi Bharat, the Government of India’s digital learning program.
Nirmit Bharat recently launched ‘DigiHaat’, a buyer application designed to create a seamless shopping experience in support of ONDC’s mission to democratize digital commerce by connecting shoppers, platforms, and retailers through an open, inclusive, and interoperable network.
On his new role, Sengupta commented: “I am excited about being part of DigiHaat, it’s great to be with the right team at the right moment in India’s digital journey. I’m proud to be part of this democratic movement towards a Viksit Bharat.”
