SAVWIPL to oversee import, distribution, and service of Bentley cars across India

Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Pvt Ltd (SAVWIPL) has officially added Bentley to its luxury brand portfolio, effective July 1. With this move, the iconic British marque becomes the sixth brand under the SAVWIPL umbrella, which already includes Skoda, Volkswagen, Audi, Lamborghini, and Porsche.

As per a report by ANI, SAVWIPL will now hold exclusive rights to import, distribute, and service Bentley vehicles across India.

To manage the brand’s local operations, a dedicated entity named Bentley India has been established. This unit will lead all functions including marketing, sales, after-sales service, and retail strategy. The aim is to drive Bentley’s long-term growth and solidify its position in India’s ultra-luxury automotive segment.

Abbey Thomas has been appointed as Brand Director of Bentley India. He will oversee the brand’s operations and focus on enhancing Bentley’s visibility and engagement with high-end consumers in the country.

The move signals SAVWIPL’s growing commitment to the Indian market and its expanding leadership in the luxury and performance automotive space.
